Craft Websites?
Does anyone know of any good craft websites for card making or scrapbooking?
I recently found a site based in UK- Handy Hippo. They have a huge variety of cards, papers, beads, etc for card making and beadwork in particular. Good web-site, easy to use, and a phone number. I rang with a couple of questions and got a very helpful chap who knew the stock and was able to recommend products. For example, asked about an easy to use glue, that actually maintained in stick – i.e. woudl not dry and bits drop off after a period of time – very annoying – and he was able to tell me of two products, not only based on what they sell, but I gather that Handy Hippo make craft products there themselves, so are fully aware of the needs of crafters. They do good sized and reasonably priced packs of stuff, so you can try/experiment etc without having loads left over (which is what often happens to me.) They also do some larger bulk packs. I have so far ordered a few bits from them and service/delivery has been extremely efficient. I think postage under £40 is £2.95, but over £40.00 is free. Hope that helps you.
