Scrapbooking with 2 and 6 yeaar old?
I’m babysitting for the whole summer and thought it would be nice to do a scrapbook for their parents. I’ve started taking pictures but have never scrapbooked b4. Do you have any tips for page set up, cheap stores to buy materials from, things the kids can do on the pages, or what to look for in buying one. Comments, websites etc. are welcome.Thank you all very much!!!!!!
So far, everyone has offered great ideas. Many dollar stores are offering scrapbook supplies for $1 such as alphabet stickers, sets of themed paper, punches, etc.
The kids could trace their hands on some different colored cardstock paper and use them as background, or cut out their faces from pictures and glue them to the fingers of their hand cutouts. Using sparkly thread or yarn “dangle” pictures of them doing things from their hand cutouts.
Do separate pages of each child and some of them together.
Do pages of them in the morning, noon, and night.
Have the kids draw pictures on acid-free paper and dictate to you what the pictures are about. You “journal” what they say.
