Would this be legal – digital scrapbooking?
I want to start doing digital scrapbooking for others… I have tons and tons of papers/elements/etc, I have purchased or downloaded… can I still use all those things (not templates) and sell the made pages or charge for work I do? Or would I need to be creating my own paper, etc…?
Usually unless you purchased a commercial license when you purchased your digital items, then those items are for personal use only and cannot be used or altered for use in “for pay” work.
You always have the option of asking permission from the author, but generally they like to protect their ideas, and rightfully so.
There are lots of designers that permit commercial use, but you usually have to pay more for that privelege. There should be commercial use info on the website.
