I need some help what you suggest?
I have been thinking about starting my own bussiness in three things one is doing dvd slidshows for people/ parties/wedding ect. … (look it up its true people out there do it) and another which i like to is photo editing or graphic degine. and also, scrapbooking for people … they can tell me what they would like on each page and from there i can do or themed books, or what ever they would like. Im more less leaning towards DVD slidshows.. tell me what you thin would be good for someone who doent want to go to school for any of this.
I think you could make some money at any of those things! Depending on how you wanted to do it, you could make a lot of money, or just a little money.
If you sell online, then you will be able to reach more potential customers. If you sell locally, then your customers may feel more comfortable with you, and you could show actual samples of your work easier (for the scrapbooking at least).
I think you would probably make the most money doing graphic design. It is hard to do well at that, and lots of people have websites and needs graphics designed for them.
The slideshows sound really interesting, and Im sure that some people would pay for that. I think though, that there are a lot of programs out there that make it pretty easy to do this yourself. I would worry that too many people would just go ahead and do the job rather than hire someone.
Scrapbooking is really cute, and looks like a lot of fun! I am one of those artistically challenged persons though, so I havent ever done it. There are a lot of people like me out there that dont know how, or just dont have the time to make them, and would pay someone else to do it. We have a store at our mall that sells pre-made themed pages. I dont know how many she sells, as we do not track business, just provide a venue for it, but she does great at them!
