Cutting shapes out of wool felt?
I need to cut some wool felt into little flowers, like daisies. I have alot to do and don’t want to cut out each one individually. I was thinking of using a scrapbooking hole punch, but I know those are for paper. Does anyone know if those are strong enough for a thicker felt? Or, is there a fabric punch out there?
my plan was to cut one shape at a time, just not with scissors… which would take forever. If I could use some type of shape puncher that would be great, I just don’t think the scrapebooking ones are strong enough.
Even with a punch, you can still only cut maybe two at a time.
You could try a rotary cutter (on a mat, of course) but still, felt is so thick, I’m not sure it’s worth the effort.
