Information on Scrapbooking, French theme?
I’m taking part of a student exchange, where I go to France for three months. I have really bad memory, so I want to make a scarpbook. I thought it would be fun. the problem is, I have no clue what I’m doing.
I’m not that good at art, but my friends say you dont really need to be. I was just wondering what kinds of supplies you need, and ideas and things like that? I live in Toronto, Canada…so if you could recommend some stores, that would be great! nothing too expensive though…
also, it wouldnt hurt if it was sort of like a French theme I guess :]

You sound like you need some good basic lessons in scrapbooking. If you have a local scrapbook or hobby store, they ofetn do run classes. You could check and see if there are any at your local store.
I know people in the USA often get some of their supplies form Michael’s? I don’t know if you have these stores in Cnada (I live in Australia) but you may find some nice supplies there.
If you would like to learn about scrapbooking online, I have put together information at my site that is free and shows you how to get started. There is also information about paper craft tools, adhesives, and various lessons in techniques you can use to create album pages.
It just so happens I have a friend who loves Paris. She asked me to make her some Artist Trading Cards (Artist Trading Cards) with a French theme, so I Googled pictures of Parisian scenes and used them to make the ATCs. You might like to try something like them:

However you wind up making your scrapbook, remember the pages should please YOU. There is no right or wrong way to make an album of memories that are special to you.
