Can you print on paper with glue?
This is rather embarrassing, but I don’t know the answer, and so I have to ask… I’m making a book for a school project and need to print text onto multiple background patterns. I don’t have color ink and can’t get any before the project is due. I have all the paper patterns I want to use but I’m not sure if it’s okay to glue paper to another piece of paper, then print onto that. Does that make any sense? I don’t know if the glue will melt in the printer, or if there is a certain glue I need to use in order to make it work…?
This is probably redundant but here’s an example of what I need:

Paper glued onto paper glued onto paper, then fed through the printer so as to have wordseseses on both patterns. Good-bad? :/ I have an HP LaserJet 1012, if that helps any, and I’m using cardstock and whatever that thin scrapbooking patterned paper is. Help or advice or any alternative methods would be great. Thanks!

For paper fusion:
The person from the first website suggest using a paint brush to apply/spread glues with paint brush and says gel glue has less water.
I do a few dry runs before finale product,adding drying time before use.
I am just wondering how the finished product will turn out with print applied. Due to evenness and glue applications.
Perhaps a run through a Ironing process then allow drying again would help the product. Place a white cotton towel over piece before applying a warm iron.
I could find no tech support for your HP LaserJet 1012.
So I have no idea of dimensions and type of printing capacity.
