What glue should you use for scrapbooking?
I have scotch tape, glue sticks, and elmers liquid glue. Will any of these work on a scrapnook page?
Do not use any of your supplies listed. You need to use acid-free, archival safe glue. Scotch tape is the worst product to use in scrapbooks – it is high in acid and will destroy your photos. Glue sticks are fine, but only if they are acid-free. Elmers liquid glue is terrible, just like tape it is high in acid.
Any craft store carries many brands of scrapbooking glue. I use Elmers Craft Bond Memory Book Glue pen. It is only $2.50, you can even buy it at WalMart. It has a fine point end, and a wide end. Another brand is Scotch Scrapbooker’s Glue (with a fine point and sponge tip), also available at WalMart. It’s about $3.
