What adhesives are archival safe for scrapbooking?
I’m trying to find something that’s got a really good hold. Craft glue sticks and regular glue sticks just don’t work for me…everything winds up pulling away from the paper later. I have photo mounting tape and foam stickies, but what else can I use that will hold well? I’m especially looking for something that can hold heavier embellishments and such.
If anyone knows of any glue/adhesives that are archival safe and have an excellent hold, I would really appreciate your suggestions. Thanks =]
I find that glue dots are quite sticky and hold the heavier embellishments well. There is also Super Tape that comes on a roll with a red backing and in sheets that you can cut up. It’s used a lot to adhere beads to paper…it is double-sided and very sticky. That would work well.

I find glue sticks don’t work well for me. I use photo squares and cut them when I need to and I use a tape runner. I use foam dots when I want to raise up something and the glue dots when I have thick or heavy things to adhere. These are the types that I keep on hand all of the time.
