Does it matter what type of pens/markers I use when I am scrapbooking?
I am new to scrapbooking so I am looking for any suggestions on what sort of utensils to use when writing in the book.
Yes, you do need to use archival quality pens. They will say Acid free, non-bleeding, fade proof. This way they won’t ruin your photos, or your sheet protectors. ZIG has some great pens. They have some labelled “Memory System”. Most pens that are good for scrapbooking will say right on them that they are great for memory books, and archival quality. They are really great as they dry almost instantly so there’s no smudging, either. Good luck!
