Scrapbooking tells a story and has actual meaning for peoples lives. Americans are tired of see paint blobs on a canvas thats called art!! Art is not what they have in places like the Metropolitan Museum of art. Its what a bunch of people who cant create anything that actually resembles anything specifically human feelings and emotions. “This peice makes me feel happy” and its a smudge of yellow on a black canvas.
At first I was going to say god I hope not but you’ve made a point.The best art is the art that captures emotion. People pay good money for art because of that. That’s why I like abstracts because you can see what you want to see. Although, I wouldn’t pay thousands of dollars for a smudge of yellow paint on a black canvas! lol
