How can I make a greeting card with a window in it?
I am trying to make greeting cards with a 2″x2″ “window” in the middle (to put a photo). Is there any way I can do this besides using a cutting knife? I heard of those square punches used for scrapbooking but I don’t think I’ll be able to get the square in the middle of the card if I use that.
There are several possibilities for this…
A punch that can be centered and cutting with a knife, like you already mentioned. Also, there are diecutting systems like Fiskars, or Coluzzle that will cut squares. There’s also the option of buying cards that already have the square cut out.
Oh, one more. Scrapbook stores sometimes let you use their diecuts, if you buy the paper from them.
