What were you colors?
for your wedding and what kind of invitations do you like?
I’m trying to build a portfolio for after my wedding is over with, I like making wedding invitations (or any type of invite) using cardstock from scrapbooking stores, we made our own and everyone loves them and I’ve had some requests..
but I want to know your colors and the kind of layout your invites were (Tri fold, flat card?) etc. So i can make my portfolio!

Our colours were blue and cream, my mother made our invites. She got some sparkly card in blue (like fine sand paper but it is made for arts and crafts) and she cut out a rectangle of pearlised cream coloured paper and then printed the words out on the pearl paper. She stuck it on the blue sparkly card so that a border of blue showed all the way around. Then on the top right hand corner she put two of those fluffy marabou feathers, one blue, one cream and then stuck a heart shaped gem at the bottom of the feathers to hide the end of the stalks. Wrapped around the whole thing was a thick strip of velum (thick enough to cover the words) and this was tied together at the front by ribbons. I wish I had pictures of them to post here!
