How do I fill up my notebook????
I just found this old notebook in my closet and i am dying to fill it out. the only thing is, i cant think of anything to write!!! i am too irresponsible to keep up with a journal, and scrapbooking is not my thing. so,does anybody have any ideas?
Well, you could come up with a question to ask yourself for each page, or for a paragraph. A really good excercise in writing is to just let yourself write, not even worrying about punctuation or spelling, just to be free. You could ask people to help you come up with questions.
Such as…
If I could go anywhere in the world, where would I go?
What was my favorite Christmas memory?
What really annoys me?
When I was a kid, what did I want to be when I grew up?
What was the best advice I ever got?
The best thing to write about is what you you, what fascinates you, what interests you. What do you think about? What do you want to remember? Another interesting idea is, writing a letter to your future self. Writing your goals for who you’d like to be in a certain ammount of time. Writing where you are at this point in time in your life. Writing what is important to you, and etc.
One of my favorite quotes is this: “Writing is easy. You just open a vein and bleed.”
Sometimes just saying all the things that are hard to say, that no one else can possibly understand- that is so stinking theraputic and you really learn alot about yourself.
