Good sewing machine for scrapbooking?
I’d like to buy a portable, lightweight sewing machine to use on my cards and scrapbook pages. Any suggestions?
How much do you want to spend? You will want a machine that has decorative stitches, and I would recommend going to a sewing machine dealer to see what machines would have the pretties decorative stitches. You don’t want to use just a plain stitch, but a machine that I have has lots of pretty lacy stitch designs and you can pick a design to compliment your pictures. I have a lightweight Babylock that has nice designs on it, but there are lots of different sewing machines brands and I would definitely advice buying at a dealer so that if you have problems, you can take the machine in and talk with the service person. They also might have some machines that are perfectly good used ones that people have brought in for a trade up to a machine with more features that the want and you can buy one of those. Scrap booking can be absolutely beautiful with stitching that is not dense. Look online and see what you think.
