How come I have to have something to obsess over?
I always do. Wether its horses, scrapbooking, master mind plans on how to get my parents to let me get a new animal, drawing, etc etc etc.
I am the same way, for me it is distraction in a sense.
Could that be the reason for you? Are you avoiding a deeper issue?
It could be a simple small case of OCD but everyone has that.
It can also be a control issue, you can control these obsessions as opposed to not being able to control the natural order of life.
