What are some ways to organize scrapbooking materials?
If you can,cheap ideas please.
for tools and supplies use shoe boxes. use 3×5 cards to write the contents of each box on the side and place boxes on a bookshelf. make a box for products you have the most of like chipboard, alphabets, rub ons, etc. for ribbons, simply punch holes into the box and thread the ribbon through for easy access.
for paper you are better off buying paper storage boxes (like for magazines). i usually organize by manufacturer, but you can also organize by color, theme, or style- boho, primary, doodle, floral, etc.
the handiest item i have for organization is a box of sandwich bags. it helps to keep things visible and reduces the bulk of packaging. simply punch a hole under the zipper and place on a large binder ring then hang on whatever is handy like the back of a chair.
whatever organizational technique you choose, make sure it makes sense to you based on how you scrapbook. i would also recommend picking up “organization tips for scrapbookers.” happy scrappin
