Scrap booking – I need some good ideas and good….?
tools for scrapbooking. I am trying to start – but I am not very organized, and I don’t have a lot of tools. What are some good starter tools to have in scrapbooking, and some good ideas as far as what kind of themes to use. Keep in mind that I am just starting and I have a lot of pictures to sort through – so I need simple, concise ideas…..but I also need to know what are the best tools to get started….thanks in advance.
I had the same problem when I started.
Supplies:
A book- best I found is post-bound, top loading books. The pages are just clear plastic and you insert the sheets of paper. You can remove the papers and rearrange the pages and add more. They hold a lot but they have a limit. 12×12 is the biggest and the ones I like best. 8×8 is the next size down and they make good gifts.
Paper- Cardstock is the most popular and come in all sorts of colors and patterns. This can become addicting to buy because you can wander around the craft section and see pretty designs and just grab it! Next thing you know, you have boxes full of paper you don’t know what to do with.
Pens- These are so you can write stuff about the pictures on the page. Make sure they’re photosafe.
Stickers- HUGE variety can be found. Make sure they’re acid free because they’re best to not damage the picture and pages in the long run. Also, don’t put the stickers on the photo themselves because that WILL damage the pictures.
Hope this is a start
