What is a really good paper trimmer?
I need 1 from a department store that is inexpensive.
Also, i would b using it 4 scrapbooking.
Any of the 12″ trimmers that you can get at the store do fine. It’s good to get one that has replaceable blades that you can replace when they dull. You can scour the newspaper for coupons as Joann’s and Michael’s have them often and then you can save money that way.
I have 3 12″ trimmers. My favorite of the bunch is a big, bulky Fiskars one. It has a large “deck” where they paper rests on – bigger than a 12″ x 12″ sheet of paper and the arm that holds the blade is made of metal. I prefer this one over the others because the ones with the plastic track can bend slightly when cutting and make your cuts off. This can be annoying at times but I can usually rectify it by making another cut to clean it up but just want you to be aware of that. Not a big deal, but it happens.
I have a separate trimmer that I use for cropping photos. I have a Creative Memories one and it’s great. It’s nice to have a separate one because photos dull blades quickly.
