How can I identify my scrapbooking Albums?
I need a creative way to tell what is in an album while it is still on the shelf. I do both chronological albums and albums with each of my kids/grand-kids/family/etc – I’m sure you get the idea. Thanks in advance!
Do you have albums with removable spines? I have used a single layer of page protector on the spines of albums. Cut a page protector to the same size as your removable spine. Decorate the page protector with stickers, photos, ribbon, paper, numbers, words etc and slip it on to the spine cover before reassembling the album. Your decorations stay safe and they can cover the entire spine.
Creative Memories in Australia has some little charms you can slip onto the spine as well. They are in the shape of a little frame, so you can add pictures to the frames. This works well when an album is about one person, or for a particular theme such as Christmas.
