Organizing Scrapbooking Supplies and Tools…..Help!?
Ok Im a scrapbook-er and i am overwhelmed! I have many, many, many, items such as embellishments, pretty scissors (the kind that cut wavy), stamps and ink, precision cutting knifes, not much paper (but that’s about to change), many pix, ALOT of ribbon, adhesive dispensers, a personal trimmer, a corner rounder, AND MORE!!!!! Please help me what is an INEXPENSIVE way to organize all this? Im very much of a neat freak and I’m dumbfounded. Please do NOT say oh just throw it all in a plastic bin, I hate that idea. It also needs to be easily accessible and im limited to a VERY small space. Any ideas are appreciated!

I keep things all separate so like all of my clear stamps are in this 7″ tall box standing up so I can just flip through them for easy access. The box came from Christmas, it has no lid since my did tore it apart but since the base was still in great shape I kept it. I will be covering it with cool paper and embeli’s later. I have a Tote where most of my tools, punches and adhesives reside for now. It has lots of pockets and got it at Micheal’s 1/2 off. From there I found cute containers for everything and cute boxes too. So like my paper clips are in a cute vintage tin, same as the buttons. I find those little trinket boxes in random places, Antique stores being a big one and others that I’ve collected for other stuff. Stamp Pads are kept in a makeup case that fits them perfectly and looks cute that I picked up 75% off at target. I’m thinking of picking up another soon for my Embeli’s since they are starting to out grow their original box.
All of this is kept underneath my coffee table since I like to sit downstairs to Scrap so I know about small spaces. Sure I could use my loft or extra bedroom but I like to watch tv and love my living room.
So you can turn any container into a scrap-tainer and make it look beautiful with paper coverings, ribbons and embeli’s. Just use your imagination and all your scrap tools to help.
Btw if you have a big prob with messy ribbon everywhere look online at those ribbon boxes they sell then hit up Ross, TJ Max and get a pretty long pretty box, punch holes in it, add some eyelets then feed the ribbon through so its something that you can use both or all 4 sides of and have multiples of if you have more ribbon then fits in one box. Things stay pretty and neat.
