Does anyone have any creative ideas for an Outback themed birthday party?
My son will be turning three next month and we are throwing him an Outback themed birthday party! However, I am having some difficulty coming up with creative and fresh ideas. So far I have somebody coming to do an animal show with small animals from the Outback, I am making his birthday cake in the shape of a crocodile, and his invitations have a Koala bear & eucalyptus tree on the front. (I am scrapbooking the invitations)
I think I’m off to a good start but, I now am at a road block. I’m not sure what to write inside the invitations (besides the obvious & Khakis optional) I don’t really want to have balloons as center pieces on the tables so I’m not quite sure what to do for that and what should I use for party favors? Safari hats, bandannas, boomerangs, or binoculars?

Buy little plastic animals from the Outback and make little party bags, give them a bag or sweets or something and a hat. That’s all you need.
For the food, you could get chicken nuggets shaped like animals and have someone paint their faces like animals.
