What do you put in a scrapbook? ?
I think I’m making one for my mom with all the Christmas pictures we took.
I wont get a chance to go out today to purchase any christmas scrapbook paper so I have to use things around the house I have basic stuff I guess
-fabrics
-crayons/markers/colored pencils
-construction paper
-etc
please help
I would never use construction paper for a scrapbook because it will ruin the photos over time.
Scrapbookers use paper that is acid and lignin free so that photos are protected over time.
You really need to use card stock, most of which have these properties because scrapbooking is such a popular hobby.
Make sure that the card stock you purchase is color coordinated and a quality product.
What you can include in your scrapbook is:
decorative paper ribbon eyelets buttons die cuts
stickers brads glitter images that are rubber stamped
Make sure to mat the photos – that means have a piece of card stock behind the photo that is at least 1/4″ larger than the size of your photo.
As you do that, test the color behind the photo before doing anything because some colors can clash or wash out of photo or make only one small part of the photo stand out.
